In-Comm’s ‘Signature’ Approach to Apprenticeships seals major awards
More than 550 people packed into the ICC recently to celebrate the high-profile ‘Signature Awards’ and once again In-Comm walked away with one of the major honours.
The Aldridge-headquartered training provider was recognised by judges for its work in promoting apprenticeships and playing a significant role in the launch of the Marches Centre of Manufacturing & Technology in Bridgnorth and its £3m Technical Academy extension in the heart of the Black Country.
Gareth Jones, Managing Director, was on hand to accept the award from organiser Ninder Johal.
“We genuinely were not expecting to win anything so when our name was announced I was in complete shock, a really great surprise.
“The Signature Awards is a great celebration of the best businesses and the best leaders and the accolade is fitting recognition for all of our trainers, our staff and the technical partners who are helping us put apprenticeships on the map.”
He concluded: “There’s still a long way to go and we need everyone pulling in the same direction. Vocational learning is the only means of bridging the skills gap and giving engineering and manufacturing companies the skills they need to thrive.”
