What you love about your role: I love working with data and getting stuck into a spreadsheet. My role has evolved significantly since I started nine years ago, which is one of the aspects I enjoy most. The constant changes to funding rules and apprenticeship requirements mean there is always something new to learn. It keeps me engaged, challenges me to stay up to date, and ensures that no two days are ever quite the same!

What you love about your role: What I enjoy most about my job is having the opportunity to support and mentor individuals as they grow, develop their skills, and ultimately become confident, capable engineers of the future. It’s incredibly rewarding to watch their progress over time from learning the fundamentals to applying their knowledge in real-world situations and overcoming challenges along the way.
I also value the variety the role provides. No two days are ever the same, as there is always a new challenge to face, whether that’s solving technical problems, adapting to different learning needs, or responding to unexpected situations. This constant change keeps the role engaging, pushes me to keep improving myself, and ensures that the work always feels meaningful and dynamic.

What you love about your role: I enjoy the people and being able to work with them on a daily basis to help them achieve their best at all times. Whether this be from supporting on a welfare matter or just finding ways to address issues in the most pragmatic way without getting tied up in too much policy. At a personal level, I really enjoy the autonomy I am given to deliver the best services I can and to be trusted to not only support our people but be a strategic partner in helping the business continue to grow in line with its objectives.
