Materials testing, measurement of the characteristics and behaviour of such substances as metals, ceramics, or plastics under various conditions. The data thus obtained can be used in specifying the suitability of materials for various applications—e.g., building or aircraft construction, machinery, or packaging.
This course is a mix of both theory and practical applications ideal for those with little or no previous knowledge covering the different methods of testing materials.
The aim of this one day course is to provide a greater understanding of the different types of materials testing methods and why they are used.
