In-Comm Telford (formerly Marches Centre of Manufacturing Technology) is an employer-led response to bridging the skills gap by creating industry-ready apprenticeships and delivering the best upskilling opportunities.

Led by a consortium of Classic Motor Cars, Grainger & Worrall, Salop Design & Engineering and Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ training provider In-Comm, £3m has been invested in the state-of-the-art centre in Telford, offering 20,000 sq ft of manufacturing training space. The facility is fitted out with new equipment and state-of-the-art technology, spanning from the latest CNC machines, robotics, fluid power and material testing to welding, electrical, lathes, millers, CAD/CAM and metrology equipment.

Our team of expert trainers – all with considerable experience in industry – will be on hand to guide the engineers of the future and to deliver best practice courses that will help local companies future-proof employees for years to come.

Engineering Club

For a monthly membership fee, the In-Comm Engineering Club gives companies the unique opportunity to use over £4m of state-of-the-art technology and equipment to help them implement new processes, develop products and explore Industry 4.0.

Membership gives you an induction on all machines on site, use of machines and access to MCMT employed specialists and engineers if support or ideas are required.

The Engineering Club also aims to create a network of contacts within numerous industries, expanding skills and boosting the competitiveness of the region.
