Portable measuring arms, commonly referred to as Romer or Faro arms, are commonplace in many of today’s advance engineering organisations. These manual portable measuring devices provide high accuracy with fast and flexible measurement.
Unlike traditional Co-ordinate measuring machines. Portable arms have to be physically positioned to take precision measurements. Even experienced static CMM operators can find portable arms difficult to use at times.
Our basic training provides solid best practice foundations ensuring arm operators measure work in the most efficient and accurate ways possible.
As portable arms use a variety of software’s, our courses are aimed at a maximum of three people. Ensuring candidates receive undivided attention while focusing on the trainee’s relevant software of choice. These include software such as Cam 10, PC Dmis, Polyworks, Geo Magic, Aberlink etc. Which can all be catered for.
This Four-day course is designed for those working in the manufacturing or industrial industry with an understanding of technical drawings. The course aims to provide delegates with a solid foundation for using portable measurement arms.
