This one day course is for people working in the electro-technical industry; is an upgrade to and will replace, the already existing 17th Edition Wiring Regulations all subsequent amendments. If you have passed your 17th Edition since the last amendment was published then you are able to take this shorter 1 day 18th Edition update course. This 18th Edition qualification will be essential if individuals wish to join a Government Approved Part P Scheme Provider. Every installation from January 2019 will need to be designed in line with the 18th Edition wiring regulations. As this is an open book exam, individuals will need to ensure that they have a copy of the up to date IET Wiring Regulations 18th Edition BS7671 2018, we will need to see your existing certificate prior to you booking this update course.
To assist delegates, in updating their knowledge of the Wiring Regulations and inform them of the changes made from the 17h Edition Amendment 3 to the 18th Edition.

This programme uses a mixture of group discussions, pro-forma examples, information input sessions along with theory application to fully involve participants. To complete this course delegates are required to undertake a two hour, 60 question multiple choice online examination which will give a pass or fail grade.
