Internal auditing is one of the fundamental activities for maintaining a Management System and assessing compliance with specified requirements. And with Continual Improvement being one of the key Quality Management Principles of ISO 9001, internal auditing goes beyond compliance and becomes one of the key drivers of business improvement. This course looks at the requirements of IATF 16949:2016 defining the requirements for organisations supplying to the automotive industry. It enables harmonisation of the various supplier assessment and certification systems across the entire automotive chain.
The aim of this two day course is to provide a greater understanding on ISO 9001 with a focus on the IATF 16949:2016 standard giving individuals the benefits of a process-based management system and is designed to teach individuals to plan, execute, report and positively follow up corrective action for internal audits based on the requirements of IATF 16949.
