ISO 9001 is an international standard providing organisations with a framework to run an effective Quality Management System.  It can be adopted by any organisation to provide their products and services in a consistent way whilst enhancing customer satisfaction.  This course is designed for those needing to understand the business benefit of a process-based management system and the furthermore requirements of IATF 16949.  This course looks at the requirements of IATF 16949:2016 defining the requirements for organisations supplying to the automotive industry.  It enables harmonisation of the various supplier assessment and certification systems across the entire automotive chain.

Aim

The aim of this one day course is to provide a greater understanding on ISO 9001 and the requirements for IATF 16949:2016 giving individuals the benefits of a process-based management system.  An awareness of the IATF 16949:2016 standard and how it can be used incorporated into existing management systems for managing risk and for continual improvement, along with the changes that occurred between TS 16949:2006 and IATF 16949:2016.
