One of the key findings to come out of the In-Comm Training Barometer 2023
was that the biggest barrier to training is releasing staff from their activities.
Time is clearly the greatest asset and we listened to what companies were telling us. We have designed a new ‘modularised’ training offer that means staff can learn specific modules of the Level 3-5 Engineering & Manufacturing and Leadership & Management frameworks.
These will be both accredited and unaccredited courses and will address key skills shortages and deliver true impact on the shopfloor and across leadership teams.

Funded by West Midlands Combined authority (WMCA)
In-Comm have been awarded “Higher Level Skills” funding by the West Midlands Combined Authority in a bid to help engineering and manufacturing firms bridge the skills and competency gaps.
This funding will help add value to companies by upskilling existing staff and delivering advanced competencies within their business.
Accessible through the Training and Manufacturing Group
Up to 126 learners in the WMCA area will be able to tap into modularised training programmes for the first time, accessed via the Training & Manufacturing Group (TMG).
Training & Manufacturing Group is a collection of 100 like-minded businesses bound together by a commitment to achieve world class best practices and future-proof training to boost UK industry.

Through this new programme, we are offering modularised delivery on the following courses:
LEVEL 3
• Diploma in Engineering Technologies
• NVQ Diploma in Engineering Maintenance
LEVEL 4
• HNC in Engineering Mechanical or Manufacturing Modularised
• Engineering Project Management
• Level 4 Toolmaking Programme
LEVEL 5
• Level 5 Diploma in Management Modularised
• Level 5 Leadership & Management
