Meet The Team: Sam Middleton
We spoke to Sam Middleton, CNC & Engineering Tutor and Assessor, to find out more about what he does at In-Comm Training.
How long have you been at In-Comm Training?
I have been with In-Comm for just over two years now – time flies when you’re having fun!
What is your role?
My job title is CNC & Engineering Tutor and Assessor, although I often support apprentices in other areas of their learning.
If you had to do one apprenticeship with In-Comm, which one would you choose and why?
I would do a mechatronics course, as I have been a machinist for 25 years so it would be an exciting new challenge for me to get to grips with.
What’s been your proudest moment at In-Comm Training?
My proudest moment has to be winning Manager’s Player of the Year!
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
I love getting involved with any DIY around the house, rugby and, most importantly, spending time with my family.
What inspires you?
I’m inspired by how you can achieve continuous improvement in machines and engineering processes.
What advice would you give to people thinking about embarking on an apprenticeship?
I would recommend an apprenticeship to anyone looking for hands-on industry-leading training whilst gaining your qualification.
